The Galibier-Thabor ski area
Book your cottage in the world class ski area between Valmeinier and Valloire open from Christmas to mid-April for a family and fun atmosphere. The area peaks at 2750 meters going up and down 1300 meters on the Valmeinier side.

Lover of Valmeinier for nearly 30 years, permanent resident for more than 5 years, we built and equipped this chalet intended for rental as if it would have been for us.

Where are we?
Access by train or car?
By car,Valmeinier is located 1 hour 30 minutes from Grenoble, 2 hours 30 from Lyon or Geneva, 2 hours from Turin and 30 minutes from Saint Michel de Maurienne.
You have to leave Highway
at Saint Michel de Maurienne, take the Col du Télégraphe road towards Valmeinier. At the exit of the bridge at the entrance of Valmeinier take the road on the left, pass in front of the church. Arriving at the Valmeinier Village car park, cross the car park and take the small road which descends towards the hamlet of Mélèzes. Go to the end of the hamlet at the entrance to the Combes road. You have arrived.
By train, a TGV line serves nearby the stations of Saint Jean de Maurienne, Saint-Michel-Valloire and Modane, a shuttle links the station in 20 minutes. We pick you up when the shuttle arrives.
The Col du Télégraphe
is 5 kilometers from the cottage.

Dennis and Claudia provided us great hospitality, we had such an enjoyable stay! Such a beautiful Chalet - fantastic views from every room. It was easy to find it, no problem with parking at all. House is big enough for 15 people. Fire place / sauna/ kitchen facilities are just perfect for big groups of people. The kids loved their bunk beds. The towels and sheets were snow white, immaculate and very soft. Also lifts are nearby / we had no problems whatsoever but instead lots of fun!! We would love to come back and highly recommend this beautiful Chalet. Our best wishes for Dennis and his Family.

Dennis was a pleasure to deal with who allowed for any extra request and or service to requested at any time.
Dennis and Claudie are lovely friendly genuine people who delivered everything we requested.
The house is amazing and has everything one would need for an epic holiday. The position of the Chalet is great for both Riding and Skiing. We were able to ride most of the Cols in and around the area with ease and not too far to travel.
I cannot recall anything that was not offered or out of place at this chalet. The pictures and the write up for the chalet are spot on, what you see you get.
We look forward to coming back in Ski time.
