VISITS AND ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN
Visits and walks in Valmeinier, Valloire or along the Maurienne valley
Valmeinier is made up of a main historic village and 14 hamlets made up of an old habitat representative of a time when mountain farming was the main activity. You will not fail to visit the main street of the village with its La Gwape micro brewery, its baroque church, the hamlet of "Les Mélèzes" and the hamlet of "Les Combes" with its bread oven and its mill.
During the summer the tourist office regularly organizes afternoons "bread factories" of "les Combes" oven (on registration)
We will tell you about the many possible visits from Valmeinier:
- Savoyard Baroque with the church of Valloire, the church of Aussois, the church of Bramans,
- the typical village of Bonneval sur Arc
below the Iseran pass,
- the forts: fort of the telegraph, the forts of the Esseillon barrier, ....
- Not to miss the alpine gardens of Lautaret
- the emblematic roads of cols of the tour de france
- but also visits to Italy with the border at 60 minutes and the city of Turin at 2 hours by car.
Activities for children
The Lières play area: along the Nevache a specially equipped area along the torrent (very little water) with games for children and picnic tables. The play area of the flat above the chalet with games for the little ones.

The via ferrata of Valloire:
- the Saint Pierre route classified as "very difficult" with an overhanging passage which leaves memories ... not to mention certain rather gaseous passages,
- the much more accessible route from Poingt Ravier.

Location of all terrain electric scooters. Mountain bike and scooter routes via the ski lifts and ski slopes.
